My daughter has attended Neverland Nursery School for a few months now, and we could not be more happy with our decision to have her there. The staff is warm, caring, knowledgeable, and attentive to the kids needs.  I have stopped by at random times on numerous occasions and found my child happily playing (inside and outside),eating amazing organic food, or  sleeping very peacefully on her own bed.  Dayna has been very helpful in meeting our dietary needs and is the utmost in professional.  We receive thoughtfully written summaries of our daughter's day at Neverland. In addition to the standard diet- nap- diaper records, they include detailed observations of her learning, social well being, and mood.  Her staff greets me warmly and always have stories to tell me about her day.  While the physical space is a bit on the smaller side (something Dayna will even admit to) she had worked hard to make it feel cozy and safe for the kids.  I think that very small children don't notice the size of the room as much as us big adults might.  I very much appreciate the natural toys, lack of cheap plastic junk, and overall healthy space she has created.   My daughter lights up as the car pulls up and she realizes where she is when we get there.  I  am a school teacher, and I take the care and well being of children very seriously. I would not hesitate to recommend Neveryland Nursery to any of my friends or colleagues. For being a relatively new establishment, it is clear to me that Dayna knows what she is doing and is very emotionally present in the work she does. --Justin B

Neverland Nursery School and it's Director, Dayna, are amazing. I moved to Eugene with my 12 month old son a few months ago and knew nobody here. In my search for childcare, I was interviewing for a nanny and was not interested in a nursery school but I changed my mind the moment I met Dayna and saw her facility. It is a beautiful, creative, thoughtful and peaceful environment completely tailored to young children and their discovery of the world. My son has been attending Neverland for a few months now and is clearly thriving in their care. When I pick him up, he is always in a wonderful mood and he busily shows me around the nursery school as if to tell me all the cool things he did that day. Sometimes, he doesn't want to leave at all. 

Neverland and its staff very clearly delight in the children and I know my son's sense of curiosity and exploration are being well nurtured. The toys are all made of natural materials, there are art activities daily, the kids go outside every day, their feelings and experiences are acknowledged and respected, the meals are all made with fresh, organic ingredients and each day, and I get a 2-page summary of what my son explored that day, his mood, what he ate, and how he slept. Dayna has a serious commitment to developing and providing an optimal environment for children and she is succeeding in leaps and bounds. For her, this is clearly a labor of love. My husband and I have our daughter enrolled at Neverland Nursery School, and I can't emphasize enough how ecstatic I am about the quality of their care. We researched for months to find the perfect care facility for our daughter, and after our tour of Neverland we knew it was the right place for us. They have taken every precaution needed to care for children and I absolutely love the way they handle my child's precious experiences as she learns and grows. 

I'm always impressed with the monthly newsletter and I love having daily updates about how creative and adventurous my daughter is. We love the special details of natural toys and organic food as it is a continuation of what she has at home, and I know it makes her feel comfortable and welcomed at the nursery. The teachers are kind and attentive, the facility is clean and beautiful.

Our son has been at Neverland Nursery School since the end of August, 2016. We are so pleased with our experience - working with Dayna and her fabulous team has been excellent. He has learned so much and built great friendships! We appreciate that he is treated as an individual and we get great summaries and details about his day. The teachers are engaged, thoughtful and have each built relationships with our kiddo. If you're looking for more than "just" childcare for your little one, this is the place.

After making the tough decision to get some help with our little guy, NNS was the perfect fit at the perfect time. Our son has been learning, growing, and is now excited about going to "school."
