What to Bring to Neverland Nursery School -- Infant & Toddler (6 weeks-2 years):
Feeding equipment
Your infant will need their own bottles specifically to keep at the nursery. We will label them, and your child will be the only one to ever use them. We will sanitize them at the center, and prepare them daily. We prefer that you provide 4 to 6 bottles upon enrollment. Weaned toddlers do not need sip cups. At Neverland Nursery we encourage children to drink from glasses that we provide.
Drinks
If you have an infant that is not weaned, they will need enough expressed breastmilk or formula for the day. If they are on solid food, there is no need to bring drinks. Regular drinks (juice/water/goat's milk/cow's milk/tea/etc.) are provided with tuition.
Food
For older infants and toddlers, organic meals and snacks are provided by the center. Allergies, and food accommodations will be discussed, and implemented upon enrollment.
Clothes
Your child will need a jacket and sunhat to stay at school.. They will also need a change of clothes labelled with their name on the tags, or somewhere inside the garment. This is in case they have an accident, or they get a bit mucky. Since we go outdoors daily, make sure your child always has close-toed shoes, and clothing suitable for the elements.
Nappies and wipes
Please provide a large stock of diapers and wipes at the nursery. We will let you know when they need a refill. For an additional fee we will provide these items for you. The diapers we provide are natural diapers made from organic materials, and the wipes we use are organic coconut oil wipes.
Sleeping gear
The center provides clean, organic cotton bedding, and breathable blankets for all children at the center, but if you wish to provide a special blanket or comfort item for your child, that is most certainly permitted!
Sunscreen
We provide sunscreen for the children in our care. We do not put sunscreen on young infants. If you wish that we use a specific sunscreen on your child, please provide it to keep at the center upon enrollment. All children are required to keep a sunhat at the center as well.
Comfort items
If your child has a favorite teddy, or comfort blanket, he may keep it at the center for nap time use. If you can, buy two the same item and keep one at home for ease.
Medicine
If your child takes any prescription medicine, we will need to know how, and when to administer it. We have a locked box that we will store the medicine in. Please also submit in writing the same administration instructions on a label, and attach it securely to the medicine container.
